UX/UI Designer

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Work closely with the product analytics and development teams to design a user-friendly interface
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Be responsible for designing all aspects of the user interface including layout, visual style, interaction, navigation
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Prepare UX documentation (navigation flows, wireframes, mockups, use cases, task flows, etc.) to be used by the development team
• Maintain and extend the product’s existing user interface design
• Identify and troubleshoot existing UX issues/problems and make recommended solutions
• Bring best practices of user experience design throughout the design process and modern UI/UX design tools
• Follow design trends and promote best user interface practices, produce new ideas and creative solutions and work on improvements

What we expect:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science or a relevant field
• At least 4 years of previous experience in UX/UI designer role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability principles
• Ability to create quick but clear wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
• Experience with one or more UI tools (e.g. Figma, Zeplin, Adobe XD, Sketch) and up-to-date knowledge of design software
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and/or experience with mobile UIs will be considered as an advantage
• Good written and spoken English

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 2600.00 to 3500.00 EUR
