Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Zabbix Headquarters, Riga, Latvia

As a part of our team you will:

• Take technical ownership of security deliverables with relation to the Cloud
• Be responsible and perform security monitoring, incident response, finding vulnerabilities and giving recommendations for fixing them, implementing DevSecOps practices and tools, configure security guardrails and controls for the Cloud
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Infrastructure and DevOps regarding cybersecurity and architectural decision-making process
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud security threats and trends

What we expect:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or relevant certifications in Cybersecurity
• 3 years of solid experience in cloud security roles
• Strong in Cloud security Architecture, Operations, Networking
• Understanding of the Secure SDLC process - DevSecOps and follow the process to effectively protect the developed and designed solutions
• Practical experience using Microsoft and AWS cloud platforms, IaC, Linux OS, Containers, Ansible, Terraform, EKS, IAM, WAFs Vulnerability Management, Certificate Management, hardening cloud environments, log aggregation etc
• Familiarity with Zabbix is a plus
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Compensation:

• Monthly salary (gross): 3400.00 to 4200.00 EUR, depending on your level of expertise
