1 Frontend improvements

  • Many frontend fields have been made much wider by default:
Before Zabbix 3.0.5.
In Zabbix 3.0.5.
  • Dashboard widgets now take more of the available space when placed in just a single or two columns. They also align to the left, if placed in one column.

Previously in these cases large areas to the left/right would be unused, while information in the widget would get cramped.

  • XML import now correctly converts SNMP low-level discovery rules to multiple OID support.

2 Daemon improvements

2.1 ODBC monitoring

Now there is no answer size limitation for ODBC requests (ZBX-8489).

2.2 VMware monitoring optimisations

The VMware data processing and storage was changed, resulting in less time VMware cache is locked and also reducing the size of cached data.
