Personal Data Processing Policy

Zabbix SIA is an organizer of the Zabbix Conference Germany 2023, hereinafter – Event, which will take place at the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade, Lützowufer 15, 10785 Berlin, Germany.

Zabbix SIA is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data of Event’s attendees under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). For the purposes of GDPR, Zabbix SIA will be the controller of personal data of Event’s attendees. Zabbix SIA’s Privacy Policy is available at Privacy Policy

1. Zabbix SIA collects personal data Event’s attendee provides to Zabbix SIA when Event’s attendee completes registration forms. This information might include Event’s attendee’s full name, job title, company’s name, email address, phone number, hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Data”.

2. Zabbix SIA will share Personal Data with no one, save for its Partner in the Germany – Intellitrend GmbH, a processor of Personal Data, which is delegated by Zabbix SIA to conduct all necessary activities related to receiving payment from Event’s attendees for the Event. Zabbix SIA, as the organizer of the Event, remains fully responsible for the abovementioned activities of its Partner, including processing of Personal Data, and Zabbix SIA shall ensure that the Personal Data being transferred to its Partner continue to be protected under GDPR.

3. Zabbix SIA will use Personal Data:

(i) for the purpose of general administration and arrangement of Event’s events:

Zabbix SIA may use the contact details of Event’s attendee for planning and logistics, and general administration of the attendance at Event’s events.

The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is to perform contractual obligations of Zabbix SIA.

(ii) for the purpose of direct marketing activities, that is, for providing similar products (annual Zabbix Summit, Zabbix Conferences) or services (Zabbix training courses, and Zabbix technical support services) by Zabbix SIA in the context of a customer relationship.

The legal basis for such Personal Data processing is Zabbix SIA’s legitimate interest under point (f) of Article 6 (1) of GDPR. The Event’s attendee has the right to object at any time to such processing of Personal Data under Article 21 (2) of GDPR.
