Patrik had 16 years of experience in IT and mainframe monitoring before joining Open-Future, B.V.B.A in 2012. The company is a long-time Zabbix partner and one of its first training partners. Over the years, Patrik has successfully delivered multiple Zabbix projects for customers in Belgium. In early 2013, he took his expertise to the next level by training in Riga to become a Zabbix Certified Trainer. Since then, he has conducted Zabbix training worldwide and authored several successful books on the subject, including "Zabbix Cookbook" and "Zabbix 4 Network Monitoring." His latest project is an open-source Zabbix book under the Monitoring Penmasters foundation, a community-driven initiative in collaboration with a member from OICTS.nl and Zabbix founder Alexei Vladishev. The foundation will offer a free online HTML version of the book, along with a paid printed edition, with profits donated to an open-source project to be decided later.
